Scheduled work on Smith Road is set to begin next week, according to a recent notice from the Department of Public Works.

Hopkinton highway manager Mike Mansir stated in a notice to residents that construction on Smith Road will begin Oct. 14. Work hours are scheduled to be 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Residents are asked not to park along the sides of the road in order to limit interference with the work. Residents also should expect delays, Mansir noted.

According to the notice, dates are subject to change based on weather conditions.
