Letter to the Editor: Ritterbusch displays ‘unbiased voice of reasoning’

by | Jun 17, 2020 | Letter to Editor

In 2017 I was a new voter to the town of Hopkinton and was looking for information to learn about town issues and elections. That is when I came across Amy Ritterbusch’s contribution to ehop.org and eventually got to know her personally in 2018 when I decided to volunteer for the organization. Her thorough and in-depth knowledge as well as breadth of information has been of tremendous help to so many new and old-timers in Hopkinton.

I have worked with Amy closely since 2018 while volunteering for eHop and also as a fellow board member of eHop. Her dedication, her professionalism and her unbiased voice of reasoning is notable in every aspect of work she does. Her list of volunteering efforts and accomplishments is quite remarkable, from her contributions to eHop as a founding member, to serving on the Planning Board, to being the chair of the Growth Study Committee and the Hopkinton Center Historic District Commission.

Amy brings a unique perspective to our town that has been undergoing tremendous growth over the last few years. Being the chair of the Growth Study Committee, she has offered many points of view on how the town might adapt and flourish with these changes.

It is for the above mentioned reasons that I strongly believe Amy will make the ideal candidate, and I endorse her candidacy for Select Board. I wish her all the very best for her endeavors.

Please stay safe and cast your absentee ballot. Also. please make sure it reaches the town clerk by Monday, June 29.

— Charusmitha Ram, Hopkinton

Letter to the Editor: Town leaders need to explain actions

I write following up my comments at the March 3 Select Board meeting, which I made with respect to the Select Board’s executive session on Jan. 30, 2018. That session was attended by, I believe, 13 individuals, including Peter Sismanis, his attorney, town counsel,...

Letter to the Editor: Scoop your dog’s poop
