Business Profile: Dream Station Early Learning Center

by | Apr 17, 2019 | Business, Education

Balance between education, open recreation, structured outdoor activities

The Dream Station Early Learning Center offers 10 fun-filled weeks this summer consisting of sports, recreation, arts and crafts, and even a game room.

Caring staff have planned and created an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and high-energy activities for parents to consider for children entering first grade through age 13.

“I love spending time with the kids each summer,” school-age coordinator Casey Bishop said. “Our programs are designed to foster creativity through play. Children learn to like themselves and the world around them through their social interactions and play with others.”

New this year are the three-day-a-week club programs. During Sport-acular a child learns the basics about a favorite sport; Got Talent allows a child to explore his or her talents in dancing, singing and acting; Crafty Kids gives children an opportunity to get creative with watercolors, mixing colors and drawing; and in Photography: Picture This! children will learn the basics of photography, take images and create a memory keepsake.

Of course, Dream Station’s themed, weekly summer programs are available as well. Those include Beach Bash; Red, White and Blue; America’s Got Talent; Lost in Space; Score! Sports Galore; It’s Anyone’s Game; Dream Station Gives Back; Mad Scientist and the ever-popular Summer Olympics.

Children will enjoy being active and busy outside on the spacious playground and basketball court while on campus and find a balance between open recreation and structured outdoor activities, supervised by trained staff. An indoor gym is available for those days when it’s too hot to play outside.

In addition to planned activities, Dream Station offers a “treat” program twice each week —on Mondays and Fridays — with inflatable moonwalks, obstacle courses and water slides, magic shows, storytelling, an ultimate frisbee dog show and even an interactive animal show.

Three field trips, offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, are in the planning stages. Those details will be available shortly.

Dream Station’s school-age summer program is available on a week-by-week enrollment. Contact Dream Station by telephone or email for full summer camp program details along with tuition fees, payment schedules and policies.
