Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

A tentative memorandum of agreement has been reached between the Hopkinton Teachers Association and the Hopkinton school district, superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced Tuesday on HCAM’s Hopkinton Hangout Hour program. A newly scheduled meeting of the School Committee has been set for Thursday for committee members to vote on the deal, one day after the teachers union takes its own vote.

The Legacy Farms Road North street acceptance will come right down to the wire, with the Select Board deciding to address the article in a meeting just before Saturday’s Town Meeting after waiting to see if the town and Legacy Farms developer Roy MacDowell can come to an agreement about a potential issue with pesticides on the site.

The Water Department will be doing work at the intersection of Wood Street and West Main Street on Wednesday, starting at 8 a.m., the department announced. The westbound lane of West Main Street at the lights will be closed, with traffic routed down Wood Street and up Elm Street to return to West Main at Lumber Street Extension.

Today the School Committee holds office hours from 1-2 p.m. Meeting tonight are the Housing Authority (6), the Capital Improvement Committee (6:30) and the Board of Appeals (7).
