Annual Polyarts Festival canceled for 2020

by | Jun 28, 2020 | News

The Hopkinton Polyarts Festival, held each September on the Town Common, has been canceled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

An email from the organizing committee stated: “The committee has been monitoring the situation and reacting in the best interest of our guests, volunteers and community. While we were hopeful, it appears resolution of the current crisis will be slower than initially projected. In response, it is with sadness that we share the cancellation of the 46th annual Polyarts Festival for this year.”

Polyarts, which began in 1974 as a demonstration of various arts and crafts to showcase the talents of the local community, is a daylong event featuring professional craftspeople, performing artists and community groups.
