Hopkinton residents Steve and Mary Ansell are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Louisa Ansell, to Benjamin Carroll, son of Kim and Michael Carroll, who also are Hopkinton residents. Louisa and Ben were married on Sept. 28 on the Tappan Manor lawn at Tanglewood in Lenox. Reverend Nathan Detering officiated the ceremony, and a reception followed in the Tent Club.

Ben owns MGD Builders and is the co-founder of the solar company Team Sunshine. Louisa works as a college and school counselor at Saint Joseph Prep in Boston.

The couple, who met while high school students in Hopkinton, currently reside in Medford. They are planning on honeymooning in Tulum, Mexico.
