ARRESTS

August 17
5:53 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street and requested backup. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Stephen Buckley responded. A 41-year-old from Uxbridge was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection sticker, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended.

August 23
5:55 a.m. Officers Kevin Sager and Stephen Buckley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street and subsequently arrested a 28-year-old Mendon resident on a warrant and additionally charged him with operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and number plate violation.
11:49 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager and Sergeant William Burchard conducted a motor vehicle stop on Chestnut Street and arrested a 28-year-old from Roslindale on a warrant.

August 17
12:05 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed a check of Wildlife Drive property in reference to a previous incident. All was OK.
12:15 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street and followed the vehicle to a nearby gas station.
1:11 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley made checks of the Echo Trail off Granite Street.
3:37 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Wilson Street property.
10:14 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro assisted a person with out-of-state firearms fingerprinting.
11:09 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
12:53 p.m. Officer Matthew Santoro took a report of bank check fraud.
4:02 p.m. A walk-in who has been donating K-9 food requested to meet K-9 Titan. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K-9 Titan met with her in front of the station.
4:17 p.m. A manager at Woodview Way reported a male recording young girls at the complex’s pool. The lifeguard on duty was able to get a video of the man, who left the pool. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and spoke with the manager and lifeguard. A report was to follow.
5:36 p.m. Officer Tyler Brabham followed up with a person who previously requested a well-being check on a friend. Officer Brabham spoke with the party, who was to call back once she landed in Colorado.
5:53 p.m. A School Street resident reported threats were made to his wife at work and he requested an officer to come to the house. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and took a report.
6:31 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a motor vehicle that was all over the roadway of South Street. The operator stated the steering box was broken. He was to park the vehicle in the parking lot overnight.
9:05 p.m. A Church Street caller reported a lost yellow Lab with a red collar. The incident was logged.
9:33 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a few cars in H Lot on Loop Road and moved people along.
9:37 p.m. A caller reported people banging on the front door of a Chestnut Street house. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Brendon Lyver and Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:06 p.m. A caller complained of a loud party on Grove Street. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Brittany Firth and Stephen Buckley responded and took a report.

August 18
12:43 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Lakeshore Drive property.
1:19 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley made checks of Constitution Court.
8:00 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Teresa Road.
8:46 a.m. A Granite Street caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in her driveway. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded and reported it belonged to a friend of the caller’s daughter. All was OK.
8:55 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan assisted with fingerprinting a person.
11:07 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing via bicycle on Davis Road.
2:15 p.m. A Wilson Street resident reported her dog was missing. The incident was logged.
3:29 p.m. A Davis Road resident reported things keep happening in front of her house. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and all checked out OK.
4:44 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on Wilson Street property.
5:43 p.m. A Church Street caller reported a male was following her. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and attempted to make contact with the involved party, but no one answered at the residence.
5:59 p.m. A Dale Road caller reported a stray cat in her backyard. The animal control officer was notified.
9:26 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and moved the occupants along
9:46 p.m. A caller requested an incident that took place at a public entrance on East Main Street be logged.

August 19
12:34 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Elizabeth Road property.
1:33 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
3:27 a.m. A caller complained of a barking dog on West Main Street. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and the dog was taken inside.
5:26 a.m. A Mount Auburn Street resident reported her neighbors were outside yelling at each other and causing a disturbance. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Brittany Firth responded and spoke with the parties.
7:19 a.m. A Mount Auburn Street resident reported the upstairs neighbors were screaming profanities at her. Officers Matthew Santoro and Moira McGaffigan responded and reported an ongoing neighbor issue and gave all parties advice.
11:10 a.m. Officers Brendon Lyver and Matthew Santoro responded to a motor vehicle accident with no personal injuries on West Main Street and took a report.
11:31 a.m. Officers Matthew Santoro and Brendon Lyver responded to assist with roadway flooding on Main Street. The flooding later receded and the roadway was clear.
11:32 a.m. A caller reported part of the roadway of Fruit Street was washed out due to flooding. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and reported the DPW was clearing the road and it was passable.
11:39 a.m. A Legacy Farms North resident reported ponds had flooded out the roadway. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and reported the water had subsided.
11:48 a.m. A caller reported the roadway of Maple Street was flooded. Sergeant John Porter and Officer Matthew Santoro responded and assisted the DPW on scene.
11:54 a.m. A caller reported the roadway of Teresa Road was flooded. Sergeant John Porter and Officer Matthew Santoro responded and reported the roadway was passable and the water was receding.
12:14 p.m. A caller reported the roadway of Granite Street was flooded. Sergeant John Porter and Officer Matthew Santoro responded and reported the roadway was passable and the water was receding.
12:15 p.m. Officer Brendon Lyver assisted the DPW with flooding issues on South Street.
12:24 p.m. A caller reported she found a credit card on the side of the road on School Street. The incident was logged.
1:36 p.m. A caller reported fallen wires on Oakhurst Road. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and reported it was a primary wire, and the road was impassable until the arrival of Eversource. Eversource was notified, and the power was shut off.
2:35 p.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Hayden Rowe Street and took a report.
3:40 p.m. A caller reported a large turtle on the sidewalk on East Main Street. Officer Robert Ekross responded and reported the tortoise was not in danger. The animal control officer was notified.
7:50 p.m. A caller with a traffic complaint on Pleasant Street spoke with Officer Robert Ekross, who spoke with the involved party.

August 20
12:14 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth responded along with the Fire Department to Cole Drive, where a resident needed help with sounding smoke detectors.
12:20 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin completed property checks on Ash Street.
2:24 a.m. A Teresa Road caller reported someone rang her doorbell. Officer Cody Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:05 a.m. A caller reported a tree fell on a car with a baby locked inside it on Clinton Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Moira McGaffigan and Philip Powers responded along with an ambulance. The street was closed and the Highway Department was notified. A report was to follow.
9:53 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no personal injuries on West Main Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Ryan Polselli responded and took a report.
12:49 p.m. A Lowell Dive caller reported the inside odor of natural gas. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department and Eversource. It was discovered that the caller had left the gas stove on. No hazard was found.
1:08 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted a motorist on Spring Street.
12:30 p.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan assisted a person on Mayhew Street.
4:03 p.m. The Holliston Police Department reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in Holliston involving a male operator in a grey Honda. Officers Ryan Polselli and Robert Ekross responded and stopped a vehicle matching the description on Ash and South Mill Streets, but it was not the suspect vehicle.
6:16 p.m. A South Mill Street resident reported suspicious damage done to her front door. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and took a report.
10:08 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about stolen property. Officer Ryan Polselli assisted and took a report.

August 21
12:22 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Cody Normandin completed checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
1:21 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Fruit Street fields.
9:00 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle with no placard parked in a handicap parking spot on Constitution Court. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and the vehicle was gone upon her arrival.
9:10 a.m. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded along with the Fire Department to a smoke detector activation in Pinecrest Village. A faulty detector in a bedroom was found and the homeowner was advised to replace it.
9:16 a.m. A caller reported trash and cans were left on the soccer field on Greenwood Road. The items were disposed of, and the caller requested evening checks of the area. The incident was logged.
10:00 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan found a pair of Adidas sneakers on the side of the roadway on West Main Street. The incident was logged.
11:01 a.m. A caller reported a credit card reader at a West Main Street business was possibly tampered with. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and reported the machine appeared to be in normal working order.
9:34 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on Greenwood Road property.
9:38 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross came across graffiti on traffic signs on Saddle Hill Road. A message was left for the DPW.
11:28 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed checks of the Windsor Apartments on Constitution Court.

August 22
12:34 a.m. A caller reported two people riding bikes in the middle of the roadway, close to vehicles, on Main Street. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Ryan Polselli responded and spoke with the bikers, followed them home, and advised the parents. They were to be home for the night.
1:11 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield turned around on West Main Street to check on two individuals walking on West Main Street, and they were gone upon his arrival. Officers Stephen Buckley and Ryan Polselli responded to assist in locating them. They were found and picked up behind 42 South St. A report was to follow.
2:12 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed checks of Echo Trail on Granite Street.
11:20 a.m. A caller reported a tree blocking the roadway of Westfield Road. Officer Jay Deiana responded and reported the road was passable, and he contacted the DPW for removal.
11:26 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana removed a tree from the roadway on Ash Street.
12:09 p.m. A Winter Street resident reported a grey SUV parked in front of her house. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and the vehicle was gone upon her arrival.
12:14 p.m. A caller complained of heavy machinery being operated on Legacy Farms North in violation of town bylaws. Officer Jay Deian responded and spoke to the company doing the work and advised the workers of the bylaws. They finished for the day.
12:21 p.m. A caller reported a tree was blocking half the roadway on Pond Street. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and placed a cone in the area and notified the DPW.
12:41 p.m. Officer Jessica Ferreira provided a courtesy transport to Wood Street for a person locked out of a South Street building.
1:45 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana responded along with the Fire Department to a report of a tree that fell on a Kerry Lane house. No structural damage was reported. A tree company was requested for tree removal.
2:18 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana responded along with the Fire Department to a report of the odor of natural gas inside a Main Street building. Zero readings were found, and the odor was determined to be related to the water leak.
4:01 p.m. A Wood Street caller reported a coyote walking through her yard. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and checked the area with a negative find.
5:30 p.m. A Constitution Court caller reported injured birds in the area. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and transported them to the animal control officer.
6:27 p.m. The Upton Police Department reported a suspicious RV in a School Street parking lot. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Ryan Polselli responded and checked the area.
8:01 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Wilson Street property.
8:50 p.m. A caller reported loud screaming on Ash Street. Officers Ryan Polselli and Cody Normandin responded and all checked out OK.
10:10 p.m. Officer Coy Normandin checked on a motor vehicle on Main Street and subsequently provided a person with a courtesy transport.

August 23
12:02 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Kevin Sager and Stephen Buckley checked on suspicious activity on Lakeshore Drive and moved individuals out of the area.
12:53 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley reported suspicious activity at the playground behind an Ash Street building and advised youths to go home.
1:00 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Teresa Road property.
1:55 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed checks of Granite Street property.
8:04 a.m. Multiple callers reported a dead deer on the side of the roadway on Ash Street. The animal control officer was notified.
8:25 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle drove by and a person yelled obscenities and threw a beer can at her teenage kids while they were walking on the side of the road on Spring Street. Officers Moira McGaffigan and Jay Deiana responded and checked the area with a negative find on the vehicle.
8:46 a.m. A caller reported a young boy sitting by himself on a bench on Main Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and reported his mother was nearby and watching him. All was OK.
9:10 a.m. A West Main Street gas station employee reported an abandoned motor vehicle in the parking lot. Officer Jay Deiana responded and contacted the owner, who locked his keys in the vehicle the previous night. The vehicle was subsequently unlocked and removed from the parking lot.
9:46 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan assisted a person with recovering personal property on Main Street.
11:58 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
12:06 p.m. Officer Matthew Santoro took a report of check fraud on Main Street.
2:14 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K-9 Titan were dispatched to Ashland to assist the Ashland Police Department with a search.
2:50 p.m. A caller reported a tree limb fell and damaged her vehicle on Granite Street. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and took a report.
4:55 p.m. The Ashland Police Department requested assistance. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K-9 Titan responded and assisted.
7:29 p.m. A caller reported a large branch in the roadway of Clinton Street. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and placed cones in the area and notified the DPW.
9:49 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K-9 Titan were deployed to search for a 50-year-old female, who left a West Main Street facility. She was subsequently located.
