ARRESTS
June 23
9:12 p.m. On Downey Street, officers arrested a 26-year-old man from Washington Street in Mendon and charged him with possession of a Class B drug, having an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no vehicle inspection/sticker.

June 23
8:57 a.m. A Jackson Street caller reported an unmarked white van pulled into his driveway and was still sitting there 30 minutes later. He reported that he was expecting someone from pest control, but they normally arrive in a company van with a logo. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and spoke to the van driver, who confirmed he was with pest control and was using a different van.
9:11 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello assisted the DPW with installing traffic equipment on Grove Street.
10:52 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello assisted the DPW with traffic equipment on Main Street.
1:59 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz reported a low-hanging branch disrupting the flow of traffic on Park Street. The DPW was advised.
2:39 p.m. An officer was requested to respond to the school offices regarding a samurai blade found in the parking lot.
10:26 p.m. After a West Main Street facility received a call about someone in scrubs — possibly a resident — walking around, officers responded and checked the area with a negative find. Facility staff confirmed that no one was missing.
11:51 p.m. Multiple officers responded to a call reporting people yelling at each other on Kruger Road and spoke with the parties.
June 24
3:08 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon responded to a report of a landscaping truck in the woods on Hayden Rowe Street. The officer checked the area up to the town line and on Chestnut Street but was unable to locate the vehicle.
5:34 p.m. A car carrier reportedly hit a mailbox on Lumber Street and left the scene. Milford Police advised that a vehicle went toward Granite Street to Route 85. Officers were out with the vehicle on Deer Run.
7:41 p.m. A caller reported that a dog was in a car on West Main Street with no windows open. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and found the dog’s owner in the car with the animal.
7:51 p.m. A party reported a truck and trailer that needed to be moved on Lakeshore Drive. Quinzani responded and issued one vehicle ticket, but the other vehicles were all set.
June 25
7:43 a.m. An officer reported a vehicle may have struck a pole on Norcross Road, as a large piece of it was torn off. Eversource was contacted and advised. Workers were to assess the damage.
8:25 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded to a possible vandalism call and found broken window glass in an Ash Street parking lot. The DPW was advised of the issue.
9:08 p.m. Dispatchers spoke to a caller who stated there was a strong burning smell on the second floor of a West Main Street building, but there were no alarms, smoke or fire. Officer Nicholas Saletnik and the Fire Department responded and identified the smell as burnt popcorn.
9:46 p.m. Westborough Police reported a vehicle involved in a hit and run was heading toward Hopkinton. Officers Nicholas Saletnik and Sean McKeon headed toward the area, and Saletnik conducted a stop of the vehicle on Wood Street. Westborough was contacted and sent units to respond. Westborough PD were to handle the hit and run.
11:47 p.m. A caller stated that he overheard two kids talking about underage drinking at a house party on Fenton Street. Officers Lucille Creedon and Sean McKeon responded and reported no noise on Fenton Street. No other calls about the situation were received.
June 26
10:22 a.m. A person reported that a gyroscope he was missing could have been stolen. He wanted the concern logged.
1:22 p.m. Officer Matthew Santoro completed a check of Wood Street after a black bear reportedly crossed over the road into a yard.
1:51 p.m. Multiple officers responded to a complaint of vehicles parked on both sides of the roadway on West Elm Street. The event was concluding, and all vehicles were to be on their way.
2:30 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin logged a call about a black bear in the area of Huckleberry Road.
3:22 p.m. A walk-in reported someone hit their car with a carriage on West Main Street. A report was taken.
5:26 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon spoke to a walk-in who requested to file a complaint about a sergeant.
June 27
8:33 a.m. A caller requested assistance with his ex-wife and son. Officer Nicholas Saletnik spoke with him.
9:39 a.m. A caller stated that a bat flew into his car on Cider Mill Road. He opened the windows and doors, but the bat would not move. The animal control officer was notified and was to contact the caller.
11:01 a.m. Officers responded to a request from Milford Police to be on the lookout for a 62-year-old female with dementia. An area from South Street to the Milford line was checked with a negative result. An officer spoke with staff at Sandy Beach, who reported no sightings of the individual.
11:10 a.m. Eversource reported that the windows of the school building on Ash Street had been smashed out. It appeared that windows on the second floor were broken, possibly with rocks. A report was to follow.
11:55 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti came across two male parties on scooters, one of whom had taken a spill. The party denied medical treatment.
2:11 p.m. Multiple officers responded to a Walcott Street caller stating she was being threatened by her brother’s girlfriend. Officers advised they were trying to get the female party making threats to leave the residence. A report was to follow.
3:27 p.m. A Pinecrest Village caller reported there was a loud party near his residence, possibly by Angel’s Garden Center. Officer Cody Normandin responded but was unable to locate any noise.
6:31 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin spoke to a walk-in who requested to speak to an officer as well as to notify the animal control officer regarding a dog issue.
8:15 p.m. A caller complained of loud music and a party at Nazneen Circle. Officer Sean McKeon responded and identified a child’s party on Nazneen Circle that was not the source of the noise. Upon further investigation, it was determined the noise was coming from an Upton residence. The Upton Police were notified and were to send an officer to the area.
June 28
10:52 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded to a water main break on Claflin Place. The Water Department was called.
12:13 p.m. Officers responded to Woodview Way after a caller reported loud music coming from another apartment. Units checked the building, but no loud music was heard.
June 29
12 p.m. A caller reported a tree on wires on Cedar Street that possibly could fall into the roadway. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and confirmed the tree was on a Verizon wire and not on primaries. Verizon was notified of the issue.
5:37 p.m. An Amazon driver reported a hit and run to his vehicle on Proctor Street. A crash report was taken.
6:44 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker responded to a road hazard on Blueberry Lane. It was covered with a bucket, and a message was left for the DPW.
7:08 p.m. A caller reported he hit a hawk, and it was in his driveway. The animal control officer responded.
9:25 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin was out on West Main Street with three juveniles on bikes and scooters. A female party was to pick up the kids. Officer Nicholas Walker went to a Downey Street address to let a grandparent know to pick up their grandchild.
