ARRESTS

July 3
9:41 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed a motor vehicle stop on Glen Road, and Officer Robert Ekross responded as backup. An 18-year-old from Ashland was arrested and charged with failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended.

July 5
12:11 a.m. On Cedar Street, Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Aline Matos arrested a 20-year-old Milford resident on a warrant and additionally charged him with marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

July 1
1:20 a.m. Officer Aline Matos checked on a vehicle parked on Hayden Rowe Street and moved the occupants along.
8:56 a.m. A Constitution Court resident reported illegal dumping. Officer Nicholas Walker responded to Fruit Street to look for the involved person, but he was not there. A report was taken.
10:53 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted the Fire Department on South Street, where smoke was emanating from a trash compactor at a business.
11:41 a.m. A caller reported a lost tennis bracelet. The incident was logged.
11:55 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted a person on West Main Street and provided him with a courtesy transport to Main Street.
12:10 p.m. A Wood Street caller requested assistance removing a person who was smoking on her property. Officer Nicholas Walker responded, and the smoker was gone upon his arrival.
12:57 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard contacted Eversource and Verizon about fallen wires on East Street.
2:34 p.m. Sgt. Matthew Santoro assisted a Trevor Lane resident with fingerprinting.
6:58 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
10:13 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield made checks of the Fruit Street fields.

July 2
12:30 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon made checks of Lakeshore Drive.
8:07 a.m. A caller reported her car broke down on Interstate 495 in the breakdown lane. The State Police were notified.
9:01 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
10:19 a.m. A walk-in, on behalf of her mother, reported money fraud. Sgt. Matthew Santoro assisted and took a report.
11:56 a.m. Sgt. William Burchard and Sgt. Matthew Santoro responded to a motor vehicle crash on Main Street and took a report.
1:46 p.m. The DPW reported illegal dumping on Wilson Street. Officer Nicholas Walker took a report.
4:28 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on a vehicle on South Street and found an Uber driver inside. All was OK.
4:38 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti issued a parking ticket at Sandy Beach.
6:22 p.m. A caller requested an officer to help with a custody exchange. Officers Sean McKeon and Brian Ziniti assisted.
7:08 p.m. A caller reported receiving harassing messages. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted and took a report.
8:57 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street.
11:17 p.m. A Christian Way caller reported a male in his 80s with three dogs walked through her garage and knocked on her door. Officers Benjamin Vaz, Peter Lord and Lucille Creedon responded and spoke to the man, who had parked near the Upton State Forest to hike and was looking for his way back. Officers provided him with a courtesy transport back to his vehicle in the forest.

July 3
9:04 a.m. A property manager reported an abandoned motor vehicle on Parkwood Drive that had been there for some time. Officers Robert Ekross and Jennifer Manning responded and spoke with the property manager, and the vehicle was to be removed.
10:17 a.m. A Patriots Boulevard caller reported her electrical box was making a noise. Sgt. Matthew Santoro responded along with the Fire Department.
1:02 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of Constitution Court.
3:52 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio investigated someone creating a fake Venmo account to steal from a local concession stand. A report was to follow.
4:03 p.m. A Parker Point Road resident complained of a vehicle driving around the neighborhood numerous times. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked the area, and the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
4:25 p.m. Multiple callers reported a vehicle hit a deer on Chestnut Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and took a report.
5:25 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on Winter Street.
9:42 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio made checks of Wilson Street property.

July 4
5:44 a.m. A caller complained of vehicles on both sides of the roadway on Cedar Street near the State Park. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officers Peter Lord and Aline Matos responded and had multiple cars move off the roadway until the State Park gates opened.
8:40 a.m. A caller requested an officer to check on an animal floating in the pond on South Mill Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded.
10:32 a.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin assisted a tow truck with lights on West Main Street.
11:18 a.m. A Cedar Street Extension resident complained of State Park visitors’ vehicles parked on his property. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted detail officers in moving those vehicles along.
11:33 a.m. After receiving a complaint, Sgt. Cody Normandin assisted with traffic flow on Cedar Street near the State Park.
11:36 a.m. A caller reported two people threw something out of their truck on Hayden Rowe Street. Officers Robert Ekross and Jennifer Manning responded.
4:54 p.m. A caller reported a loose dog on West Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and located the owner.
6:46 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officer Eva Cann issued five parking citations at Sandy Beach.
7:41 p.m. A Hayward Street resident reported her neighbor keeps on going onto her property and making her nervous. Sgt. Shannon Beloin took a report.
7:48 p.m. A caller complained of noise and people setting off fireworks on Lakeshore Drive. Officer Kyle Quinzani and Sgt. Shannon Beloin responded and reported the fireworks stopped.
9:11 p.m. A caller complained of fireworks being set off on Lakeshore Drive. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and spoke with individuals, who were leaving for the night.
9:22 p.m. A caller complained of people setting off fireworks on Nicholas Road. Officer Robert Ekross responded and reported the fireworks ended.
9:25 p.m. A caller complained of fireworks on North Mill Street. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded.
9:29 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio investigated fireworks on Woody Island Road.
9:44 p.m. A caller complained of fireworks on West Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and spoke with a passerby, who stated the fireworks had ended.
11:35 p.m. A caller complained of loud music coming from a car near the dumpsters on Woodview Way. Officer Lucille Creedon responded, and the vehicle was gone upon her arrival.

July 5
12:02 a.m. A Jackson Street resident reported people doing ding-dong-ditch in the neighborhood. Officer Lucille Creedon responded and checked the area with a negative find.
1:22 a.m. Officer Aline Matos made checks of Pratt Way.
9:42 a.m. A caller reported two dogs chased her and her dog while they walked on Sylvan Way. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and checked the area and the house where the dogs live with a negative find.
10:17 a.m. A caller reported a large truck accidentally pulled down an American flag on Wood Street. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and checked the area for the flag with a negative find.
11:16 a.m. A caller reported finding an ID on Wilson Street. Officer Noah Buentello contacted the owner, who reported it was stolen in Boston. Officer Buentello spoke with the Boston Police Department and took an incident report.
12:28 p.m. An East Main Street caller stated she wanted to file a report about harassment. Officer Noah Buentello assisted and took a report.
12:59 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle was parked in the Sandy Beach parking lot without a parking pass. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and checked the truck, which had a parking pass but not a trailer pass. Officer Quinzani was to follow up on the issue.
4:17 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon assisted the Ashland Police Department with a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street.
4:31 p.m. An East Main Street resident complained of construction noise in the neighborhood that had been going on all day. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the homeowner, who stated the construction crew was finishing up for the day.
5:44 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.
8:07 p.m. A caller reported he was locked inside the State Park on Cedar Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and assisted in unlocking the gate.
9:36 p.m. Officers Eva Cann and Kyle Quinzani responded to a report of kids setting off fireworks on Pratt Way. They located the juveniles and sent them on their way. A report was taken.
10:05 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of Main Street buildings.
10:30 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on a person looking in the windows at a West Main Street building. He was looking for an ATM. All was OK.

July 6
7:16 a.m. A detail officer requested an officer to assist with traffic control on Cedar Street near the State Park, as cars were backed up. Officers Augusto Diaz and Aline Matos responded and cleared the traffic.
10:16 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz checked on a vehicle parked near the gymnasium door of the former Center School on Ash Street. It was unoccupied and secure.
12:21 p.m. A caller complained of multiple vehicles parked outside of parking spots in a Main Street parking lot and expressed concern over emergency vehicles having access. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and spoke with the vehicle owners.
1:23 p.m. A caller reported someone threw a rock at his vehicle on Cedar Street. Officer Augusto Diaz checked on the vehicle and spoke with the caller about the vandalism.
2:47 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Wood Street. Officers Noah Buentello and Augusto Diaz checked on and spoke with the driver.
4:44 p.m. A caller reported a wild bird inside a locked vehicle at the high school parking lot on Hayden Rowe Street. Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded and contacted the registered owner, whose son was driving the car and was at the soccer field. The son went to the car and freed the bird.
9:34 p.m. A Maple Street caller reported he returned home, turned on the air conditioner and lights and used the microwave, and then he smelled something burning. The caller was advised to evacuate, and Sgt. Arthur Schofield and the Fire Department responded.
9:41 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on a Main Street sidewalk by a customer. The Milford Police Department was contacted and was to notify the owner.
10:26 p.m. A caller reported a dumpster fire and woods on fire on East Street. Officer Eva Cann and Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded along with the Fire Department.
10:50 p.m. A female flagged down Officer Benjamin Vaz on Main Street, and Officer Aline Matos gave her a courtesy transport.

July 7
10:06 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:43 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of Blueberry Lane property.
3:11 p.m. Sgt. Matthew Santoro assisted a caller on West Main Street with a trespassing issue.
3:54 p.m. Multiple callers reported protestors in the roadway on West Main Street could cause an accident. Police Chief Joseph Bennett and Officer Brian Ziniti responded and reported the protestors were gone for the day.
3:55 p.m. A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle in a bad spot on West Main Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and stood by until the vehicle was able to move.
4:13 p.m. A Main Street business owner was contacted by a tenant and told that two juveniles were taking a picnic table from the premises. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Justin Cappuccio responded.
4:39 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti issued four parking citations at Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
6:21 p.m. A walk-in reported a low-hanging tree on Lumber Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and confirmed a branch was hanging low, and he notified the DPW.
7:46 p.m. A Trailside Lane resident reported an unknown teenager, who seemed injured, walked up to her front door. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and located the juvenile nearby and found that he was an unregistered solicitor. He gave him a courtesy transport to CVS on Main Street.
9:19 p.m. A Grove Street caller reported a solicitor was banging on his door and looking in his windows. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded, and the individual was gone upon his arrival.
10:13 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio made checks of the boat ramp on Legacy Farms North.
