Arrests/Police Log, March 26 edition

ARRESTS

March 17
9:30 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street, and Officer Robert Ekross and Sergeant Shannon Beloin responded to assist. A 42-year-old was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and lights violation.

March 21
2:14 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street and subsequently arrested a 69-year-old Framingham resident on a warrant charge.

POLICE LOG

March 17
2:03 a.m. A Main Street caller reported seeing a red light on inside her car and did not recall noticing it before. She requested a check of her vehicle. Officer Peter Lord responded and reported the light was from the car alarm. All was OK.
6:38 a.m. A caller reported a fallen tree in the roadway on Saddle Hill Road. The road was still passable. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Sean McKeon responded and notified the DPW.
8:40 a.m. A motorist reported her car broke down in the middle of the roadway on West Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and assisted the disabled motor vehicle.
9:03 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker pushed a disabled motor vehicle off the roadway on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:12 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted a person on Cedar Street and dropped off a packet of information about fraud.
2:46 p.m. Sergeant Matthew Santoro and Officer Noah Buentello responded to a report of a suspicious person filming children on Woodview Way. The person was gone upon their arrival.
4:44 p.m. Sergeant Shannon Beloin made checks of Reed Park on Parker Point Road.
5:19 p.m. A Pleasant Street resident reported she received a call from someone attempting to sell Girl Scout cookies. She thought it was a scam and wanted the incident logged.
8:31 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.

March 18
1:45 a.m. Officer Peter Lord checked on Pratt Way property.
7:24 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street including air bag deployment. Officers Noah Buentello and Nicholas Walker responded. No personal injuries were reported.
8:15 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
10:33 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a home on Hayden Rowe Street. Officers Noah Buentello and Nicholas Walker responded along with the Fire Department. The driver stated he did not hit the house but drove in between the house and garage and hit a tree. A crash report was taken. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck removed the vehicle.
12:11 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about harassment and threats that she had been receiving. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted and took a report.
12:38 p.m. A Huckleberry Road resident reported someone hacked her Registry of Motor Vehicles account, and she was worried that they could get her license number and other information to steal her identity. Officer Nicholas Walker spoke with the caller and advised that the text message she received might be a scam, and he provided her with a packet of information about fraud.
5:15 p.m. A Smith Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle had been parked across her driveway for a while. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and spoke with the driver. He was waiting for his girlfriend, who was babysitting in the neighborhood.
6:47 p.m. A walk-in from Poplar Lane reported credit card fraud and identity theft. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted and took a report.
7:18 p.m. An employee at a West Elm Street business requested a vehicle be removed because work was being done that evening. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and left a message with the owner.
9:09 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
11:12 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance on Main Street with a firearm being fired. Sergeant Cody Normandin and Officers Aline Matos and Peter Lord responded to Church Street and took a report. Officers searched for shell casings.

March 19
5:37 a.m. A Whalen Road caller reported possible mail fraud. The incident was logged, and Officer Brian Ziniti was to follow up with the caller.
7:44 a.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street and stood by while a tow truck was en route.
8:40 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti completed community relations during school drop-off on Hayden Rowe Street.
9:54 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of Loop Road.
10:41 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted a walk-in with firearms licensing questions.
12:34 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
3:11 p.m. A caller complained of a motor vehicle operating on the sidewalk on Cedar Street. Officers were aware of the individual and were to follow up with him.
3:37 p.m. Officers Benjamin Vaz and Nicholas Saletnik responded to a motor vehicle accident on Grove Street and issued a written citation to one driver.
4:03 p.m. A walk-in reported that after an employee was terminated, the employee had been threatening the foreman. Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted and took a report.
8:25 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle rollover on Clydesdale Lane. Officers Matthew LaTour and Robert Ekross responded. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck removed the vehicle.
10:18 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross made checks of the Fruit Street fields.

March 20
8:52 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti completed community relations during school drop-off at Elmwood School on Elm Street.
9:25 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street. Officers Noah Buentello and Kyle Quinzani responded. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck was requested.
10:01 a.m. A Priscilla Road walk-in reported fraud. Officer Noah Buentello assisted and took a report.
10:02 a.m. The Framingham Police Department requested assistance looking for the next of kin of a deceased person found in Framingham. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted.
1:44 p.m. A motorist reported a road rage incident on Downey Street. Officers Brian Ziniti and Noah Buentello responded and reported there was a misunderstanding between a FedEx driver and the caller.
4:24 p.m. A Constitution Court caller reported a virtual scam in which a man called him and told him he needed to fill out an online form similar to PayPal. The caller did not submit the form. He was advised to carefully watch his credit, bank and personal information.
7:13 p.m. A caller reported someone on Constitution Court property who did not belong there. Officer Matthew LaTour responded, and the person was gone upon his arrival.
7:50 p.m. A caller reported a water leak on Macadam Road. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and found a person draining his pool.
8:36 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz checked on a vehicle parked in the Sandy Beach parking lot.

March 21
12:55 a.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on Holt Street property.
9:14 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted the Milford Police Department after officers conducted a traffic stop and the occupants fled on foot. Officer Walker was on alert on Hayden Rowe Street.
10:27 a.m. A Chestnut Street walk-in reported one of his neighbors threatened him through a Ring camera. Officers Benjamin Vaz and Nicholas Walker responded to speak with the involved person.
11:42 a.m. A motorist reported the traffic lights on South Street were not cycling properly. Sergeant Matthew McNeil responded, and a crew arrived to fix the lights.
11:49 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted a Falcon Ridge Drive resident with fingerprinting.
1:58 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of Lakeshore Drive property.
5:02 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator speeding on School Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and notified the Upton Police Department. Upton officers pulled over the vehicle in Upton, and the driver denied driving erratically.
7:38 p.m. A Priscilla Road resident reported a sick raccoon in his front yard. A message was left for the animal control officer.

March 22
11:06 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:36 p.m. A caller complained of two motor vehicles racing on Granite Street. Sergeant Cody Normandin responded. He stopped and spoke with two juvenile operators.
2:24 p.m. The Upton Police Department reported an erratic operator who went through a red light on West Main Street. Sergeant Cody Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find.
3:19 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator driving over double yellow lines and swerving on West Main Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik caught up with the vehicle, and the operator checked out OK.
5:30 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious cleaning van driving up and down Saddle Hill Road all day but not stopping in anyone’s driveway. Officer Robert Ekross responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:45 p.m. Multiple callers reported fallen wires on Apple Tree Hill Road. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded along with the Fire Department, which cleared the wires from the road.
10:49 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross made checks of Main Street buildings.

March 23
1:37 a.m. Sergeant Shannon Beloin checked on Oakhurst Road property.
3:30 a.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about a matter. Officer Sean McKeon assisted and took a report.
10:31 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
2:14 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio moved a bag of trash to the side of the road on Avenue B and left a message with the DPW for pickup.
4:58 p.m. A walk-in from East Main Street reported receiving threats from her ex. Her son came in and provided further evidence of the threats. Officer Robert Ekross assisted and took a report.
5:20 p.m. A Constitution Court caller reported a male on the property who should not be there. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded, and the individual was gone upon his arrival.
6:07 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour came across a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street and provided lights while the tow truck was en route.
8:34 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.
10:28 p.m. A Revolutionary Way resident reported a male whom he knew knocked on his door and yelled, screamed and threatened him over an ex. Officers Robert Ekross, Matthew LaTour and Kylke Quinzani responded and checked the possible units where the individual could be, but he was not there. A report was taken. Two parties subsequently walked into the station to “set the record straight” about the incident.

March 24
4:58 a.m. Officer Aline Matos responded along with the Fire Department to a report of smoke in a North Mill Street basement, possibly from a furnace.
7:29 a.m. Officers Noah Buentello and Nicholas Walker assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street.
12:56 a.m. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Nicholas Walker assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street and pushed it to the side of the road. The driver made his own arrangements.
4:31 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported a neighbor was out of the country, and nobody was taking care of her birds. The building manager was called and asked to check on the birds. The animal control officer was notified of the situation.
8:02 p.m. A walk-in requested a courtesy transport. Officer Matthew LaTour provided a ride.
