POLICE LOG

September 24
8:03 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Grove Street resulting in a possible back injury. Officer Nicholas Walker responded along with an ambulance.
9:24 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of the middle school and high school as well as Loop Road.
1:30 p.m. An East Main Street caller reported he was receiving disturbing information from a person and wanted to speak with an officer about the matter. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted and took a report.
5:58 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Main Street. Sgt. Matthew McNeil responded, caught up with the vehicle and witnessed no violations.
6:17 p.m. A caller reported his daughter wanted to talk to an officer about something concerning that her friend shared with her. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted and shared the information with the Grafton Police Department, where the involved party lives.
7:26 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin checked on Parkwood Drive property.
11:23 p.m. A caller reported a female on the side of the roadway on Cedar Street talking on the phone and possibly in distress. Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded and checked the area with a negative find.

September 25
12:47 a.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on Legacy Farms North property.
1:28 a.m. The Framingham Police Department reported a female at Faith Community Church on East Main Street wanted to speak with an officer. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and provided her with a courtesy transport to Ashland.
8:30 a.m. A caller complained about vehicles not stopping at the stop sign on Lumber Street. Officer Nicholas Walker responded and remained in the area.
8:54 a.m. The DPW reported a tree fell on wires on Winter Street. Eversource was contacted.
10:25 a.m. A walk-in reported his son rode his motorcycle to school in the morning but never arrived. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted and reported the school called back, stating that an error was made and the boy actually was in class.
11:47 a.m. A walk-in complained of a neighbor hosting parties with over 100 cars parked on the street. The complaint was logged.
3:39 p.m. The Milford Police Department requested an officer to go to a Benson Road residence to take an incident report about something that took place in Milford in April. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Matthew LaTour responded and took a report.
4:46 p.m. Sgt. Matthew McNeil and Officer Nicholas Walker completed community relations at the boat launch on Wood Street.
6:10 p.m. A Hidden Brick Road resident reported a vehicle had been parked in front of his property all day. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and was unable to locate the owner.
8:22 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield checked on the Fruit Street fields.
8:47 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard assisted a disabled motor vehicle with a tire change on West Main Street
9:38 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard assisted a tractor-trailer with turning around on West Elm Street.

September 26
12:56 a.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
1:41 a.m. Officer Shannon Beloin made checks of College Street property.
7:16 a.m. A caller reported a red Pontiac with no hazard lights parked in a hazardous spot on Ash Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and reported the driver was awaiting a tow. A verbal warning was issued to the driver for not having  his driver’s license on him.
8:21 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti took a report of fraud on Main Street.
8:54 a.m. A caller reported a landscape vehicle was blocking part of Saddle Hill Road and causing a road hazard. Officer Noah Buentello responded and reported the landscaping crew was moving after having finished at that location.
9:19 a.m. A motorist reported the yellow traffic light on Lumber Street was not functioning properly. Officer Noah Buentello responded, confirmed the problem and notified the DPW.
11:57 a.m. A caller reported a road rage incident on North Mill Street where she was nearly hit by a car while out for a run. The vehicle turned around, and she and the driver had a verbal argument. She did not get a license plate number. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and advised the caller of her options.
12:47 p.m. A walk-in reported his pension plan was compromised. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted and took a report of fraud.
1:13 p.m. A Westfield Road resident reported a possibly unregistered solicitor stopped at her door the previous day. Officer Noah Buentello spoke with the caller and provided advice.
2:07 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
2:17 p.m. A caller reported an ongoing complaint of vehicles blocking the roadway on Walcott Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and advised workers of the complaint. No obstructions were found.
2:47 p.m. A walk-in reported a tree on top of wires on West Main Street. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and reported there was no immediate hazard. Verizon was notified.
4:59 p.m. A caller reported someone was passed out in a vehicle on South Street. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and checked on the driver, who was taking a nap. All was OK.
4:59 p.m. A caller reported a female standing next to her car and crying on Ash Street. Officers Nicholas Saletnik and Justin Cappuccio responded and took a motor vehicle crash report.
7:13 p.m. A caller reported losing his firearm, which he last used in Hopkinton. Officer Nicholas Saletnik took a lost property report.
9:53 p.m. Officers Nicholas Saletnik and Justin Cappuccio checked on East Street property.

September 27
7:06 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello responded to a parking complaint on Main Street and found no traffic hazards.
8:07 a.m. The Southborough Police Department reported an erratic gray BMW with temporary plates driving on Cedar Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and checked the area with a negative find.
10:10 a.m. The DPW asked for assistance with traffic control while workers cut a limb off a wire on West Main Street. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and assisted.
12:48 p.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Noah Buentello and reported a case of fraud.
12:59 p.m. A motorist reported construction machinery in the roadway on Ash Street with no police detail in place. Officer Noah Buentello checked the area and  reported the construction equipment was staged off the roadway and there was no hindrance to traffic.
3:23 p.m. A walk-in reported bank fraud. Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted and took a report.
3:31 p.m. The Southborough Police Department requested mutual aid with a well-being check on an intoxicated male on Cordaville Road. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and assisted.
7:23 p.m. A caller reported a girl who looked lost on Cedar Street. Officers Nicholas Saletnik and Justin Cappuccio responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:50 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a disabled U-Haul truck with a dead battery on West Main Street. A tow truck subsequently removed the vehicle.
10:23 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on a motor vehicle parked on Hayden Rowe Street and moved the occupants along.

September 28
1:46 a.m. Officer Shannon Beloin made checks of Avenue D property.
10:07 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of the boat ramp on Wood Street.
10:44 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of Reed Park on Parker Point Road.
1:53 p.m. A postal worker complained of a vehicle parked at the end of Leonard Street that was making it difficult to pull out of the street. The caller stated he nearly hit a cyclist. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the owner of the vehicle, and he was to move it.
7:18 p.m. Sgt. Aaron O’Neil and Officers Nicholas Saletnik, Augusto Diaz and Justin Cappuccio responded to Legacy Farms North and placed a 42-year-old male into protective custody.
8:58 p.m. Sgt. Aaron O’Neil responded along with the Fire Department to Victory Lane for a water main break and water flooding into a residence. The Water Department subsequently responded.

September 29
4:04 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Brian Ziniti checked on a person at Pratt Way.
10:51 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on Huckleberry Road property and found a garage door open but no sign of forced entry. He secured the door.
1:45 p.m. A confused walk-in spoke with Detective Sgt. Gregg DeBoer. His wife was contacted and picked him up at the station.
5:41 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
7:24 p.m. A caller complained of a vehicle parked on Cedar Street. Officer Sean McKeon responded, and all checked out OK.
7:42 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield checked on a disabled motor vehicle that was overheating on West Main Street. The driver moved it to the side of the road.
10:07 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield checked on a vehicle on Legacy Farms North and destroyed a small amount of a controlled substance.
11:42 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on Clinton Street property.

September 30
12:39 a.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on a vehicle with an alarm sounding on Mayhew Street. A neighbor was able to shut off the alarm. All checked out OK.
7:28 a.m. A caller reported an aggressive and erratic operator tailgating and passing in a no passing zone on West Main Street. Officers Augusto Diaz and Noah Buentello responded, caught up with the vehicle and spoke with the driver about the complaint.
7:36 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz completed community relations at the high school on Hayden Rowe Street.
8:40 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community policing at Marathon School on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:24 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of Elmwood School on Elm Street.
1:47 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of Next Generation property on Wood Street.
2:56 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Brook Hollow Lane involving a school bus and a truck. Sgt. Matthew McNeil and Sgt. William Burchard responded and reported no personal injuries nor damage.
3:13 p.m. A caller reported a female on Constitution Court who has been no trespassed. Sgt. William Burchard and Officer Matthew LaTour responded and handed her a no trespass order, as she had not been previously served.
9:53 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard made checks of the former Center School property on Ash Street.
10:05 p.m. A caller reported a possible drug deal taking place on Mayhew Street. Sgt. Arthur Schofield, Sgt. Matthew McNeil and Sgt. William Burchard responded, checked in a vehicle and found a grandmother, the owner of the vehicle, letting her granddaughter practice for her driver’s test. All was OK.
