ARRESTS

September 14
10:28 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross arrested a 19-year-old from Westborough on Wood Street on a warrant and additionally charged him with license not in possession, speeding in violation of special regulation, and number plate violation. Officer Cody Normandin assisted and requested a tow truck.

September 15
9:44 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street and Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Ryan Polselli responded as backup. A 33-year-old from Framingham was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance. Sergeant Brennan provided a courtesy transport to the passenger and her daughter to a local daycare.

September 16
7:51 p.m. On East Main Street, Sergeant Arthur Schofield arrested a 36-year-old Webster resident and charged him with operation of a motor vehicle with license revoked as a habitual traffic offender.

September 20
5:19 p.m. Officers Ryan Polselli and Robert Ekross arrested a 51-year-old Claflin Place resident on a warrant.
8:49 p.m. Officers Cody Normandin and Ryan Polselli conducted a motor vehicle stop on Cedar Street and subsequently arrested a 39-year-old from Millbury and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation, and operation of a motor vehicle with license revoked as a habitual traffic offender.

12:08 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin made checks of Lakeshore Drive property.
12:36 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on East Street property.
8:11 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on Hayden Rowe Street. Sergeants Matthew McNeil and Timothy Brennan responded and took a report.
12:59 p.m. The Water Department requested assistance with a water well issue on Fruit Street. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded to assist. A report was to follow.
1:59 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about the placement of a traffic enforcement sign on Hayden Rowe Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil spoke with the caller.
5:01 p.m. A Main Street caller complained of loud vehicles going by her house. Officer Ryan Polselli spoke with the caller and requested extra police enforcement in the area.
7:31 p.m. A School Street resident reported a neighbor doing excavation work after town bylaw hours. Officer Robert Ekross responded and reported the work was to cease for the night.
11:59 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on the Echo Brook Trail area off Hayden Rowe Street.

September 15
12:10 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive and issued a parking ticket.
12:30 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager checked the area of the water pumping stations on Fruit Street.
5:44 a.m. A caller reported a tree fell down on top of wires on Pond Street and there was debris in the roadway. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and notified Eversource, and the DPW responded to clean up the debris.
8:28 a.m. Officer Kevin Sager assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
8:40 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan found a hanging cable line on West Main Street and notified Verizon.
9:22 a.m. A Pike Street resident reported vandalism. Officer Robert Ekross responded and reported it was done by an animal.
9:34 a.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Main Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Robert Ekross caught up with the vehicle and advised the operator of the complaint. The operator checked out OK.
9:35 a.m. A caller reported a fallen stop sign on West Elm Street. The DPW was notified.
12:00 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
2:27 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle had been parked on the side of the road for weeks on Redwood Path. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and contacted the owner, who subsequently moved the car.
3:46 p.m. A caller complained of a paving company on West Main Street causing a traffic backup. Officer Jessica Ferreria responded and reported the workers were to leave.
6:24 p.m. A Downey Street caller reported he received a scam phone call from someone claiming to be from National Grid, and he wanted it logged.
9:15 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Alexander Road property.
11:57 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager made checks of Wilson Street property.

September 16
12:47 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Fruit Street property.
12:50 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a person in a vehicle parked on West Main Street and found the individual napping.
12:53 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on the water pump on Fruit Street.
2:03 a.m. Officers Stephen Buckley and Kevin Sager checked on a Wood Street building after finding a door open.
8:09 a.m. A Davis Road resident reported a suspicious motor vehicle that was running and parked in a visitor parking area. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Philip Powers responded and spoke with the driver, who was removed from the parking lot and sent on his way.
10:57 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard reported a motor vehicle leaking gasoline on West Main Street. He spoke with the driver, who was on his way to the repair shop.
11:46 a.m. Officer Philip Powers spoke with a caller about errors in her criminal record and referred her to the courts.
12:21 p.m. A caller reported her vehicle was struck on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and took a report.
1:42 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about a previous incident. Sergeant William Burchard assisted and referred the person to the records clerk.
11:28 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley responded along with the Fire Department to a report of a burning odor at a Revolutionary Way residence. The source was determined to be an electrical one with a smoldering pillow under a bed. The Windsor service technician was notified and responded.

September 17
1:06 a.m. A Wood Street caller reported he heard noises outside and possibly saw someone by his garage. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Stephen Buckley and Brittany Firth responded and checked the area and all was OK.
1:24 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Greenwood Road property.
11:29 a.m. The owner of Main Street property reported a camper had been parked there since the night before. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and reported the camper was on private property and was the owner’s responsibility.
11:39 a.m. A caller reported a dog was running in the roadway of School Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:57 a.m. A caller reported a loose dog on South Street. Sergeants Aaron O’Neil and Arthur Schofield responded and notified the animal control officer, who took possession of the dog.
11:57 a.m. A caller reported a low-hanging wire on West Main Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded and notified Comcast.
12:45 p.m. An employee of a Main Street business requested assistance with crowd control. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Brendon Lyver responded and assisted.
1:30 p.m. A Wood Street caller reported she was in an altercation in Westborough. Sergeants Arthur Schofield and Aaron O’Neil and Officer Brendon Lyver responded and spoke to a female who did get into an altercation in her vehicle but dropped off the other involved parties. She was advised to contact the Westborough Police Department for further assistance.
2:45 p.m. A student reported finding drugs outside the former Center School on Ash Street. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and confirmed it was a cartridge from a pen.
4:04 p.m. A caller reported a dumpster in the roadway of Pond Street. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and reported dumpsters were being switched out, and it was removed.
5:52 p.m. A caller reported someone jumped on the hood of his car and cracked his windshield on the MassPike. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and took a report.
8:34 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni and K-9 Titan were deployed to Apple Tree Hill and located a party.
8:59 p.m. A caller reported loud music on Main Street. Officers Brendon Lyver and Brian Sanchioni responded and advised the parties to turn down the music.
9:18 p.m. A caller reported someone screaming on Elm Street. Officers Tyler Brabham, Brendon Lyver, and Brian Sanchioni responded and found kids on swings.
9:35 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street and Officer Brendon Lyver provided the operator with a courtesy transport to the station.
11:43 p.m. Officer Stephen Buckley made checks of Lakeshore Drive.

September 18
12:25 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley made checks of Constitution Court.
1:20 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard checked on a motor vehicle parked on West Main Street and moved the operator along.
1:46 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked the water pumping stations on Fruit Street.
8:19 a.m. A caller at Polyarts complained of a bus of runners blocking the vendor drop-off area on Ash Street and requested help. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and spoke to all parties and put a plan in place to accommodate all.
8:55 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan assisted with the Polyarts and marathon runners’ parking issue by directing the buses where to drop off runners.
11:04 a.m. A Chamberlain Street caller reported an illegal burn and a toxic smell coming from a neighbor’s outside fire pit. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and advised the homeowner of the regulations of burning.
12:32 p.m. A walk-in reported a suspicious male approached her at a Main Street gas pump and followed her to the police station. Officer Moira McGaffigan took a report.
1:54 p.m. A caller from the State Park in Ashland reported a male threatened an employee with an M16. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Moira McGaffigan, Ryan Polselli, and Brendon Lyver responded along with the Ashland Police Department. Ashland officers arrested the man, and Sergeant Brennan stood by for the tow of his vehicle.
2:15 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Chestnut Street headed toward Holliston. Police Chief Joseph Bennett advised the Holliston Police Department to be on the lookout.
2:29 p.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on East Main Street.
7:39 p.m. Officer Tyler Brabham assisted a person on Cedar Street.
8:38 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni completed checks of Ash Street property.
9:42 p.m. A caller reported a road hazard on Sterling Drive, where a tree fell in the roadway. Officers Cody Normandin and Tyler Brabham responded and contacted the DPW.

September 19
12:55 a.m. A caller reported a disturbance on Cedar Street, where a female refused to leave. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Brittany Firth and Cody Normandin responded and moved the woman along and took a report.
1:45 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth responded along with the Fire Department to a fire alarm activation on Westcott Drive. Burned food was found to be the cause.
11:30 a.m. A caller reported a loud disturbance on Revolutionary Way. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Brendon Lyver and Moira McGaffigan responded and spoke with residents, who were watching TV with the volume on high.
12:16 p.m. A caller reported a pit bull running around the Mount Auburn Cemetery. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and advised people in the area.
12:25 p.m. A caller reported a gasoline spill at a West Main Street gas station. Officers Moira McGaffigan, Ryan Polselli and Brendon Lyver responded and found all under control. The pumps were turned off and speedy dry was applied.
1:10 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan followed up with a South Street business from the tip line about legal counsel.
2:00 p.m. A caller complained of a person using construction equipment on Downey Street in violation of town bylaw. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and spoke to the individual, who ceased operations.
4:35 p.m. A caller reported loose chickens on Pond Street. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and checked the area with a negative find.
5:23 p.m. Officer Brendon Lyver responded to multiple complaints of loud landscapers working on Colella Farm Road.
8:56 p.m. A Linden Street resident requested to speak with an officer about threats she received via email. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and made contact with both parties and took a report.

September 20
12:21 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on East Street property.
8:10 a.m. A caller reported an accident with no personal injuries on Lumber Street. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and took a report.
10:30 a.m. A Chamberlain Street resident reported a grenade was in his shed. Police Chief Joseph Bennett, Sergeants Timothy Brennan and John Porter and Officer Kevin Sager responded along with the Fire Department and the State Police bomb squad. No hazards were found.
11:18 a.m. A motorist reported a pallet on Interstate 495 southbound causing a hazard. The State Police were notified.
2:07 p.m. A motorist reported being sideswiped on West Main Street, and the vehicle continued onto Interstate 495. The State Police were notified. The caller went to the station to file a report.
5:54 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on West Main Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Cody Normandin responded and checked on the operator. All was OK.
9:20 p.m. A caller reported when he dropped off his car at a Wood Street business, a suspicious vehicle pulled in. Officer Robert Ekross responded and checked the parking lot with a negative find.
9:32 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wood Street and helped a lost Instacart driver.
10:17 p.m. Officer Ryan Polselli checked on Wilson Street property.
11:49 p.m. Multiple concerned callers reported a dog barking for the past few nights on Cedar Street. Officer Stephen Buckley responded but was unable to make contact with the homeowner. The animal control officer was notified and was to speak with the owners in the morning.
