ARRESTS

September 5
8:11 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on West Main Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Cody Normandin responded and conducted a motor vehicle stop. A 35-year-old Northborough resident was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended.

August 30
12:02 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on Pratt Way property.
12:31 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on a group of teens on bicycles in a business parking lot on Parkwood Drive.
12:41 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil checked on a person in a vehicle parked on Wood Street and moved him along.
2:50 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of South Street businesses.
11:51 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Grove Street involving two cars. Officers Shannon Beloin and Tyler Staback responded. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck was requested. Officer Beloin provided a courtesy transport to one operator.
12:06 p.m. Officer Tyler Staback responded along with the Fire Department to Sanctuary Lane to a report of the odor of smoke and walls that were hot to the touch.
2:30 p.m. Officer Tyler Staback responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on East Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.
3:46 p.m. A caller reported a dog in a vehicle with the windows cracked open for over five minutes on West Main Street. Officer Cody Normandin responded and reported the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
4:11 p.m. A Wedgewood Drive resident reported he lost his wallet and wanted the incident logged.
4:42 p.m. A Cedar Street caller reported he lost his wallet and wanted the incident logged.
5:05 p.m. A School Street resident reported she found a dog on Prospect Street in Upton and brought it home. The Upton animal control officer was contacted.
6:29 p.m. A West Main Street caller reported he lost his wallet and wanted the incident logged.
9:25 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.

August 31
1:25 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on Lumber Street property.
1:32 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield reported a vehicle was parked behind a building on Avenue E and no one was around.
7:22 a.m. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officer Brittany Firth completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
7:25 a.m. Chief Joseph Bennett and Officer Shannon Beloin completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
7:29 a.m. Officer Shannon Beloin responded along with the Fire Department to a dumpster fire on East Street.
8:26 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
8:32 a.m. On Elm Street, Chief Joseph Bennett and Sergeant Matthew McNeil completed community relations at Elmwood School.
8:35 a.m. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officer Shannon Beloin completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street.
9:14 a.m. A caller reported being stung by a bunch of bees on Commonwealth Avenue. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and notified the DPW to assist with spraying.
10:54 a.m. Sergeant Scott van Raalten made checks of Elmwood School on Elm Street.
12:51 p.m. At the station, Officer Brittany Firth assisted a person with fingerprinting.
2:16 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
2:23 p.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil assisted school buses on Elm Street at Elmwood School.
3:11 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
4:27 p.m. A Marathon School employee reported a first-grader got off at the wrong bus stop on Legacy Farms North. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officers Cody Normandin and Matthew LaTour responded and took the child home.
5:36 p.m. A caller reported witnessing a verbal altercation in a West Main Street parking lot. Officer Cody Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find on the individuals.
7:11 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer. Officer Cody Normandin assisted the person.
7:29 p.m. A caller reported a person driving a pickup truck carrying 10 kids in the back on Fruit Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Cody Normandin responded. The truck was gone upon their arrival.
7:38 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on West Main Street. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and stopped the vehicle. All was OK with the operator.

September 1
12:08 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a person in a vehicle on Pratt Way and moved him along.
1:09 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield made checks of South Street businesses.
7:26 a.m. Sergeants Timothy Brennan and Scott van Raalten and Officer Brittany Firth completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
8:08 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Sean McKeon responded along with the Fire Department to a report of an explosion and a burning rubber smell at a Walcott Valley Drive residence.
8:32 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded to a complaint of a traffic backup on North Mill Street. Sergeant Brennan reported the truck was moved upon his arrival and there was no more hazard.
11:14 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan completed checks of the school complex on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:37 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of high school, middle school and Hopkins School property.
2:28 p.m. A caller reported low-hanging wires on West Elm Street. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and notified Eversource.
3:24 p.m. A walk-in requested to file a complaint against School Bus 25. Officer Robert Ekross took a report.
6:40 p.m. Officers Alexander Stewart and Robert Ekross checked on Wilson Street property.
8:41 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour checked on Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
10:13 p.m. Officers Robert Ekross and Alexander Stewart made checks of Main Street buildings.

September 2
1:19 a.m. A walk-in reported fraud. Sergeant Arthur Schofield took a report.
4:30 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of East Main Street property.
5:18 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on Mayhew Street property.
9:21 a.m. A Pine Island Road resident reported his neighbor hired a tree company to cut his trees. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and assisted with the civil dispute.
11:37 a.m. A caller reported several trees blocking the roadway of Hill Street. Officer San McKeon responded and reported no road hazard.
1:27 p.m. A walk-in reported receiving a bad check. Officer Brittany Firth took a report of fraud.
3:01 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about a parking complaint. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted.
3:40 p.m. Chief Joseph Bennett checked on a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
5:33 p.m. A caller on South Street reported his car was damaged by road construction. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Matthew LaTour responded and took a report. The vehicle struck a manhole and the DPW was notified.
7:25 p.m. Officers Robert Ekross and Alexander Stewart completed community relations on Holly Trail.
9:48 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the Fruit Street fields.
11:54 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley checked on school buses behind the high school and reported the door of Bus 22 was open. He left a message for the bus company and checked the surrounding area.

September 3
2:05 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on South Street businesses.
2:09 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
8:52 a.m. A walk-in from Trailside Lane reported stolen property. Officer Sean McKeon assisted and took a report.
12:42 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Tyler Staback and Sean McKeon responded and reported personal injuries.
12:47 p.m. A Chamberlain Street resident reported receiving a letter containing his own memorial information in it. Officer Sean McKeon responded and took a report of threats.
3:03 p.m. Officers Robert Ekross and Alexander Stewart responded to a motor vehicle crash on Oliver Lane. No personal injuries were reported.
5:21 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin made checks of Wilson Street property.
6:40 p.m. A walk-in dropped off a phone found at the Fruit Street fields.
8:20 p.m. Officers Alexander Stewart and Robert Ekross checked on Pratt Way property.
11:30 p.m. A Pond Street resident complained of a sedan beeping the horn and not slowing down around corners. The vehicle was headed toward town. Officer Basit Dennis responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:54 p.m. Officer Basit Dennis made checks of the Fruit Street fields.

September 4
12:05 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of Marathon School and EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:19 a.m. On Hayden Rowe Street, Sergeant Matthew McNeil spoke with teenagers in the parking lot by the middle school basketball courts who were playing football.
12:26 a.m. Officer Basit Dennis checked on Lumber Street property.
1:15 a.m. Probation services requested an officer check on a male on Claflin Place after they received an alert from his ankle bracelet. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Basit responded to Claflin Place and reported the ankle bracelet was on and all checked out OK.
9:04 a.m. Officer Tyler Staback checked on Wilson Street property.
1:34 p.m. A caller reported four cars parked illegally on Cedar Street. Officer Tyler Staback responded and checked on vehicles parked on Cedar Street Extension and reported they were off the roadway.
4:54 p.m. A caller complained that three cars were parked on Cedar Street and blocking passage of other vehicles. Officer Alexander Stewart responded and issued tickets to vehicles parked in prohibited areas.
6:27 p.m. Officer Alexander Stewart responded along with the Fire Department to a report of a grease fire on the smoker on a Longwood Drive patio.
6:39 p.m. Officer Alexander Stewart completed community policing on Longwood Drive.
7:15 p.m. A caller reported a car was broken down in the middle of the Chestnut Street intersection. Officer Alexander Stewart responded. The vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
7:40 p.m. A motorist reported he hit a curb on South Street while trying to avoid an animal. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officers Cody Normandin and Alexander Stewart responded and took a report.
7:50 p.m. A Downey Street caller reported suspicious activity on property in the neighborhood. Officer Alexander Stewart responded and reported all was OK. The owner was showing the property.
11:08 p.m. A caller at Golden Pond on West Main Street reported someone walked into her room, was belligerent and hit her. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and spoke with the reporting person and determined that the altercation that took place was verbal only.

September 5
2:45 a.m. Officer Basit Dennis made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
9:05 a.m. A caller on Cedar Street Extension reported she lost her dog, a black and brown miniature pinscher, just over the town line in Southborough. A message was left for the animal control officer.
10:51 a.m. A motorist reported one of the traffic lights on Cedar Street was out. Officer Shannon Beloin checked the light and reported one green light was out and the other was operational. A message was left for the DPW.
1:52 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan spoke with a person who had questions about activity on a dating website. Sergeant Brennan reported it was most likely a scam.
2:35 p.m. A caller reported finding an old abandoned shotgun in the woods on Wood Street. Officer Tyler Staback responded and reported it was an old child’s BB gun, and he removed it.
3:02 p.m. A walk-in handed in a package that was mistakenly delivered to her house.
4:46 p.m. An Ash Street caller reported a loose dog in the area. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and reported the dog was reunited with its owner.
5:02 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle was parked in a hazardous spot on Hayden Rowe Street while the owner was fishing. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and issued a parking citation.
5:45 p.m. A walk-in reported he wanted to follow up on a scam in which the other individual failed to show up. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted.
10:42 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour checked on Main Street buildings.
11:41 p.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a motorist on Main Street who was looking for a gas station.
