Charles F. DeWaele, 92, died Feb. 8. He was the husband of Carol A (Buthray) DeWaele, to whom he was married for 66 years. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Callanan) DeWaele.

He was a graduate of North High School in Worcester and Gettysburg College. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and worked for over 40 years for Travelers Insurance.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Matt of Hopkinton and Mark and wife Heidi (Canaan) of Connecticut.

Funeral services were to be held at the family’s convenience. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, Hopkinton.
