HHS music students selected for regional festivals

The Hopkinton High School Music Department announced that the following students have been selected to participate in the 2021 Central District Massachusetts Music Educators Senior Festival: senior Andrea Liu (violin), juniors Caroline Ozmun (cello), Aaditya Saini (violin), Jacob Chastain (alto saxophone), Kira Sward (alto saxophone), Luciano Duca (chorus-bass) and Meher Kaur (chorus-soprano), sophomores Allison Chen (violin), Hana Ruran (chorus-alto), Chloe Baril (chorus-soprano) and Brian Gu (trumpet) and freshman Abigail Baskin (cello).

Liu, Ozmun, Saini, Chastain, Sward, Duca, Kaur, Chen, Ruran and Baskin earned a recommendation to audition for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association All-State Festival to be held virtually in March 2021.

Additionally, this fall the Hopkinton High School Chapter of the Tri-M Music National Honor Society welcomed four new members who met both local and national requirements: Baskin, Ruran, Cristina Porzio and Sreya Ravi.
