HHS team earns spot on ‘Quiz Show’

by | Nov 17, 2021 | Education

A team from Hopkinton High School was selected to compete in Season 13 of “High School Quiz Show,” a televised academic tournament from Boston public media producer GBH. Hopkinton qualified by recording one of the 17 highest scores at a Super Sunday qualifying event. A total of 72 schools had applied for a spot in the competition.

In this year’s competition, teams of four will play remotely as host Billy Costa moderates from the GBH studios in Brighton. The first match will be broadcast Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. on GBH 2 and on the show’s YouTube channel.

Hopkinton lost in the first round last year.
