Hopkinton election results certified: Biden’s margin increases slightly

Town clerk Connor Degan on Wednesday released the certified election results for Hopkinton. According to the final tally in the race for president, Democrat Joe Biden finished with 7,047 votes (up from the unofficial count of 6,076 6,976) and Donald Trump ended up with 2,981 (up from 2,936). The increases are primarily due to mail-in ballots that were postmarked by Nov. 3 but arrived at Town Hall after Election Day.
