Annual HHS student art exhibition begins next month at HCA

This piece by HHS student Madelyn Godfroy is one of several artworks by HHS students that will be on display at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts next month.
An exhibit featuring the work of Hopkinton High School student artists will be on display at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts starting next month.
The annual honors art exhibition showcases the work of students in a gallery style presentation. The exhibition will kick off March 4 at 6 p.m. with a public reception for the artists. “Refreshments will be available for attendees as they take the time to appreciate that of some of Hopkinton High School’s most skilled and hardworking artists,” a press release from the exhibitors states.
“[It’s] a great way for student artists to not only show off their work but also show their passions, dreams and experiences through their work as well,” said HHS senior Kaylee Steir.
Steir is one of 10 artists selected by the HHS Art Department to have their work showcased this year. She appreciates the opportunity to share her art with the community.
“It’s very validating to know that my artwork has a purpose and is important,” Steir said. “It’s such a great opportunity to be able to show my work and how I express myself through my artwork.”
