Hopkinton Today for Tuesday, Dec. 24: Town departments to close in observance of holidays

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Town Hall, library closed on Wednesday, Hopkinton Today to return next week

Town departments will be closing in observance of the holiday season.

Town Hall will close at 2 p.m. today and reopen on Thursday. It will close for New Year’s Day as well.

Both the Hopkinton Public Library and the Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday. HPL will reopen on Thursday but the Senior Center will remain closed through next Wednesday.

Trash and recycling collection from Wednesday on will be delayed one day this week and next week in observance of Christmas and New Year’s.
