Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

After Wednesday night’s Board of Appeals meeting filled to capacity on Zoom, blocking others from joining, the board moved a hearing about the 290 West Main Street gas station variance application to Oct. 2.

Technical difficulties and documents issues resulted in Wednesday night’s Upper Charles Trail Committee meeting being cut short.

Conservation Administrator Kim Ciaramicoli has resigned after more than three years in the position.

Early in-person voting at Town Hall ends today, as residents cast their ballots in the state primary election.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 1-year-old Mercy, who “is playful and full of life, making her an ideal buddy for outdoor adventures.”

Ashland-Hopkinton Porchfest, a grassroots community music festival, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7, from 2-6 p.m. The event features free musical performances at front porches of homes in Hopkinton and Ashland.
