Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Hopkinton High School wrestling team hosted the annual Coaches vs. Cancer match vs. Ashland on Wednesday at the HHS athletic center. Although the Hillers dropped a 45-34 decision, they did their part to support the fight against cancer and raise awareness.

Within an hour of registration opening, spots for Hopkinton’s inaugural “It’s a Puzzler” team jigsaw puzzle competition sold out. The event will take place at the Senior Center on Jan. 15 from 2-5 p.m.

In the latest edition of Tales from a Townie, Bill Hamilton takes us on a bike ride around town, circa 1950.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is Toby, very smart dog who is looking for a home with Rottweiler experience.
