Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Happy New Year, Hopkinton! The Hopkinton Independent is grateful for its loyal following in 2021 and wishes all our readers a healthy and happy 2022.
The Police Log is back after an absence of about six weeks due to issues with the Hopkinton Police Department’s new software. This week’s edition includes reports of a group of teens trying to enter a house and then running away, a door being shattered by a deer, and a man throwing trash bins.
The next Veterans Breakfast at the Senior Center is Friday, Jan. 7, sponsored by MetroWest Veterans Services. Organizers will recall several past military events that happened on Jan. 7, with special attention given to the events of January 1968 in South Vietnam, and entertain sports fans with baseball events from Jan. 7.
