Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Hopkinton Fire Department announced that a man died in a house fire on Hayward Street early Sunday morning.

Police confiscated a toy gun from a student on a school bus and searched students following an incident Wednesday morning, Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh shared.

Ashley Windheuser, who grew up in Hopkinton and now is a physician’s assistant living in New York, plans to run the Boston Marathon to benefit the Hopkinton Education Foundation.

The Hopkinton High School boys lacrosse team edged visiting Holliston, 10-9, on Thursday, and we have photos.

Military history events were examined by a full house of local veterans at the monthly Senior Center breakfast on April 7.

Our latest Business Profile highlights Boston Honey Company, which in 2020 opened a retail store at its farm in Holliston.
