A 26-year-old woman who had sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle Thursday night on Hayden Rowe Street died on Saturday, according to a Facebook post from her mother Sunday morning and confirmed by Hopkinton’s police chief.
The Select Board on Friday night completed its review of Hopkinton Police Department Chief Joseph Bennett, pointing out recent accomplishments and areas for improvement.
Town Manager Norman Khumalo announced at Tuesday’s Select Board meeting that Hopkinton has engaged Community Paradigm Associates to work with the Select Board in the search for a new town manager. As part of this process, the consulting firm developed a community survey seeking feedback on what residents desire in Khumalo’s successor.
Some residents of Hopkinton indicated they felt Friday morning’s earthquake that struck the northeastern part of the United States.
The School Committee on Thursday — in addition to settling on a name for the new elementary school — authorized Vertex to take cost-cutting measures totaling $1,081,000 for the Hopkins addition/renovation project, bringing the current ask to $48,550,000.
