Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Hopkinton Freedom Team provides a safe place for those who have experienced abuse or violence based on characteristics like race, gender and sexual orientation, and seeks to educate the community on issues of bias.
The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts awarded the Hopkinton Garden Club, a member club, the 2020 Continuing Civic Projects Award, Medium Club, for continual maintenance of one or more civic projects. The federation recognizes the club’s accomplishments in ongoing Hopkinton beautification efforts.
The Hopkinton High School Music Department announced that 12 students have been selected to participate in the 2021 Central District Massachusetts Music Educators Senior Festival, and 10 of them earned a recommendation to audition for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association All-State Festival.
Town meetings tonight include Board of Health (5:30), Parks & Recreation (5:30), Growth Study Committee (7) and Zoning Advisory Committee (7).
