Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts hosted a family-friendly New Year’s celebration on Saturday, doing the countdown to 2023 a few hours early so kids could take part.

The town announced that staff will hold office hours to answer residents’ questions about a potential Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC) on Tuesday from 3-4 p.m.

The Hopkinton Fire Department ventured out onto Lake Whitehall on Friday to practice ice rescues.
