Hopkinton High School sports teams have opened postseason play, and the volleyball and boys soccer teams picked up impressive first-round wins. Both play again early this week.
Guests will be grabbing their pearls and pulling out their pinstripes for the Hopkinton Country Club Charitable Foundation Roaring ’20s Evening Gala. The HCCCF’s 12th annual gala fundraiser will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Hopkinton Country Club.
The town’s latest COVID-19 update shows 16 active cases and includes information on the vaccination plans for children ages 5-11.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that it will be implementing a full closure of the Fruit Street bridge, which carries traffic over the MBTA/CSX Railroad and the Sudbury River in Westborough and Hopkinton, from 9 p.m. this Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday.
Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (5:30 executive session, followed by public meeting at 7), Hopkinton Historic District Commission (7) and Marathon Fund Committee (7).
