Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh emailed schools families on Friday indicating that a student at Hopkinton High School tested positive for COVID-19. Cavanaugh followed with a press release Saturday clarifying how her department handled the situation.
Rita Doucette, a resident at Hopkinton’s Fairview Estates, celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday with a celebration that included a police-escorted parade of classic cars through the center of town.
The town recently made available a survey about the community and services for residents to complete. The survey, which was mailed to a limited number of residents earlier in the summer, now is open to all residents.
Town committee meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30) and Planning Board (7).
