According to an email Friday from Hopkinton Public Schools superintendent Carol Cavanaugh and town health director Shaun McAuliffe, a student at Hopkinton High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

“Anyone in our HHS community who has been in close contact with this student has been notified and will be quarantined,” the email reads. “The student has not been in school since Monday, September 21, 2020. As always, we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff during these challenging times. Thank you for doing your part to practice safe behaviors.”
