Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Hopkinton continues to clean up from Tuesday’s mess caused by Tropical Storm Isaias. While there were no reports of serious damage or injuries, a number of power lines were hit by falling trees and branches, causing temporary outages.
The latest batch of college honors features dean’s list students at UMass among the many local residents honored for their success.
The new edition of the Police Log includes more suspected cases of fraud, a suspicious drone incident and people star-gazing.
Town board meetings tonight (all at 7) include the School Committee, Parks & Recreation and the Open Space Preservation Commission.
