Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Lifelong Hopkinton residents Emma Burke and Sadie Morgan, friends since childhood, both were impacted by the effects of epilepsy. They decided to team up last summer to respectively write and illustrate a children’s book on the condition as part of Burke’s capstone project at Boston University.
The latest edition of College Honors highlights Zain Ali, a Lasell University student who mentored high school students, as well as other Hopkinton students who graduated or received academic recognition.
Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (7) and Community Preservation Committee (7).
Photo of the Day: This issue’s winner of the Hopkinton Independent/Bill’s Pizza photo contest is Krysta Van Ranst for this photo of her sons, Pierce and Reed, looking for slugs on the Center Trail.
