Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Boston Athletic Association announced Wednesday that the 2021 Boston Marathon will not be held on its traditional date of the third Monday in April and will be postponed “until at least the fall of 2021.”
When town clerk Connor Degan scheduled his wedding for Oct. 3 he couldn’t have imagined what was in store. Not only is the entire world in the midst of a pandemic the likes of which has not been seen in over a century, Americans are participating in an election unlike any in the nation’s history.
In the midst of a pandemic, the Knights of Columbus Bishop Rice Council of Hopkinton and Ashland has persevered with its mission to improve the lives of all those living in the community. The organization’s current focus is its COVID-19 Helping Hands program.
Town meetings tonight include the School Committee and the Community Preservation Committee, both at 7 p.m.
