Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Hopkinton’s Mikayla Pucci was nominated by Wheaton College to represent the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) as its NCAA Woman of the Year nominee. The conference will announce the winner in late July.
Friends of Hopkinton Public Library is collecting books (and only books) through August for its fall sale. Anyone with fiction and nonfiction books and audiobooks in good to excellent condition can bring them to the library during open hours.
Town meetings tonight include the Commissioners of Trust Funds (5:30) and Conservation Commission (7).
Photo of the Day: Thanks to work by volunteers from the Hopkinton Open Space Preservation Commission (OSPC) and Hopkinton Area Land Trust (HALT), led by OSPC vice chair Steve Levandosky and HALT president Morrie Gasser, there is improved signage on the trails within Cameron Woods (off Wood Street). Access to the trail network can be found via the parking area on Whisper Way.
