Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Board of Health at its meeting this past Thursday announced that the town will implement a new biosafety regulation at the request of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce to regulate biotech laboratories as that industry expands in town. The board also got an update on the PFAS problem at the YMCA.

Former Hopkinton High School golf star Keegan Bradley broke the tournament record at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut, over the weekend, winning the PGA Tour event.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced it will be conducting overnight milling operations on the Interstate 495 southbound ramps to and from the MassPike in Hopkinton and Westborough. The work is scheduled to take place from 11 p.m. this Wednesday through 5 a.m. this Thursday. The work will require temporary ramp closures and detours will be in place.

This week’s Library Corner includes information on author talks, introductions to Dungeons & Dragons and Pokemon, and a Red Cross blood drive.

Town meetings tonight include the Parks & Recreation Commission (5:30), Elementary School Building Committee (6), Conservation Commission (7) and Veterans Celebration Committee (7).
