Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
At Tuesday’s meeting the Select Board reorganized, with Irfan Nasrullah elected chair and Amy Ritterbusch vice chair. And the Hopkinton Center for the Arts was approved for an outdoor alcohol license for this summer.
Hopkinton High School students Archita Nemalikanti and Sahithi Pogula won first-place awards at the recent Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair.
To call this an unusual season for the Hopkinton High School girls outdoor track and field team would be an understatement. Even with pandemic-related restrictions largely in the rearview, the Hillers came into the year with a large roster replete with athletes who had never really competed in spring track and less time to get everyone acclimated to their events.
This week’s Senior Snippets includes information on transportation options as well as a program on living an enjoyable retirement life.
Town meetings today include the Council on Aging (1 p.m.).
