Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

President Joe Biden handily won the Super Tuesday Democratic presidential primary in Hopkinton, while Republican challenger Nikki Haley bested former President Donald Trump by a wide margin.

The Planning Board at its meeting Monday night consulted with an expert on the MBTA Communities Act about the effectiveness of its draft plan to comply with the state law.

Hopkinton’s Deb Thomas will run her sixth Boston Marathon in 2024, and this year she’ll be joined for the first time by her daughter, Caitlin. The pair will run to benefit Girls On The Run Greater Boston.

This week’s Senior Snippets includes information on programs that address home safety advice, garden tips, the area around Mount Kilimanjaro and more.

Character re-enactor Jessa Piaia will present a dramatic portrayal of Isabella Stewart Gardner in “A Visit with Isabella Stewart Gardner: America’s First Patroness of the Arts” at the Hopkinton Public Library on Tuesday, April 2, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Town meetings today include the Council on Aging (1 p.m.), Lake Maspenock Weed Management and Control Advisory Group (5 p.m.), Board of Assessors (5:30 p.m.), Select Board (6 p.m.) and Marathon Fund Committee (7 p.m.).
