Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
As we weave our way through the difficulties of the pandemic that has affected us all in one way or another, Hopkinton residents, friends, and editors Cynthia Franca and Cheryl Perreault have compiled a collection of stories, poems and images from people around the world with messages of hope — something everyone could use a little dose of right now.
As Hopkinton High School heads into the Thanksgiving break, principal Evan Bishop emailed families to inform them that a person in the HHS community has tested positive for COVID-19, although Wednesday still will have in-person learning.
Hopkinton’s COVID-19 update shows that active cases in town have risen to 24. There also is guidance on how to manage the holiday in a safe manner.
The latest edition of the Police Log includes mentions of officers issuing winter parking ban warnings. Cars are not allowed to be parked on the street between 1-6 a.m. from Nov. 15-April 1.
