Karen L. Sherman, 53 of Goochland, Virginia, and formerly of Hopkinton, passed away on June 12. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Swain) and Bruce Creswell Sr. She was the former wife of Ralph Sherman Jr. of Rhode Island.

Karen was a member of the Class of 1986 at Keefe Tech in Framingham. She enjoyed horseback riding, going to Provincetown and baking cakes for her children’s birthdays and other special occasions.

She is survived by three sons, James Sherman and wife Trinity of Goochland, Virginia, Jeffrey Sherman and wife Alyssa of Waltham, and Joshua Sherman of Rochester, New Hampshire. She also leaves behind her brother, Bruce “Chip” Creswell Jr. and wife Kerry of Hopkinton; her grandchildren, Avery, Kandice, Jace, Dean, Bruce, Lily and Andrew; her nieces, Kate Lee-Reyes and Brenna Creswell; and a great-niece, Harper Reyes.
