Letter to the Editor: Malloy for constable

by | Apr 20, 2022 | Letter to Editor

I am writing to endorse Beth Malloy for town constable. I have known Beth since we moved to Hopkinton over 20 years ago. She and I worked with the Scouts for many years. Beth was always willing to step up and volunteer, and she worked hard to make sure both the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts were having fun and learning. She fosters many dogs, and we adopted one of her dogs as she just knew this one dog was perfect for our family. She works with the Michael Lisnow Respite Center with a great group of adults aiding in their independence and self-reliance. In addition, she volunteers for Camp Sunshine, doing amazing work with kids affected by cancer. Her selflessness and generosity have greatly benefited many individuals and our Hopkinton community in general. She is a great asset to the community and will perform her duties as constable with empathy and assertiveness. She stands up for herself when necessary, and I am so glad to have her as a friend and ally. We are lucky to have her in our town.

Please join me on May 16th to vote for Beth Malloy as town constable.

— Laura Hanson, Hopkinton

Letter to the Editor: Bring back old Main Street

Letter to the Editor: Town must balance character, finances
