Letter to the Editor: Irwin for School Committee

by | May 14, 2026 | Letter to Editor

I am writing to express my support for Sandra Irwin for the Hopkinton School Committee.

Sandra would bring a welcome new voice to the committee at an important time for our schools and our community. She is thoughtful, professional and committed to listening carefully before making decisions. Those qualities matter, especially in a role that requires balancing the needs of students, families, educators and taxpayers.

Hopkinton deserves School Committee members who approach the work with seriousness, respect and a willingness to engage constructively. I believe Sandra would do exactly that. She would bring a fresh perspective while remaining focused on what matters most: supporting our students, strengthening our schools and helping the district move forward in a responsible way.

For these reasons, I am proud to support Sandra Irwin for the School Committee and encourage my fellow residents to consider supporting her as well.

— Radhika Pratty, Hopkinton
