I have known Shahidul Mannan for several years and am so impressed with his involvement in town prior to running for the Select Board. His seven years on the Appropriation Committee and two years on the Planning Board has allowed him to provide input in two critical volunteer boards and to demonstrate his priority to serve and time commitment for the town work. He brings a corporate leadership perspective and knows how to identify with the smaller business community as an entrepreneur. I have been a registered Republican since I first came to Hopkinton 33 years ago, and this year I am pleased to support Shahidul for the Select Board and the vision he has for the future of Hopkinton.
