I am writing to endorse Shahidul Mannan for reelection to our Select Board. I have had the pleasure of knowing Shahidul and his beautiful family for several years now. I find myself inspired by Shahidul’s dedication, hard work and devotion to the town of Hopkinton. I am confident in saying Shahidul possess the necessary qualities, compassion and skills to excel in this position, as he has for years now.
Shahidul has served our town well over the years. He has served on the Planning Board, Community Preservation Committee, Growth Study Committee and Appropriation Committee. Shahidul’s commitment to our town is shown in his years of service to us. Taking on so many different roles in town has provided him with a greater insight of how the other committees in town work. He has proven that he is a man of great integrity, compassion and love for our community. His professional background in finance, engineering and technology are marvelous skills when dealing with balancing our town’s budget.
As a citizen of Hopkinton, I believe it is essential to elect leaders who are committed to improving our community. Shahidul is one such leader. He has demonstrated his commitment to public service by volunteering for several positions in town, showing Shahidul’s dedication to our town. I am proud to be supporting Shahidul Mannan for Select Board, and I hope you will join me.
— Beth Ann Malloy, Hopkinton
