Letter to the Editor: Mannan for Select Board

by | May 16, 2025 | Letter to Editor

I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Shahidul Mannan for Select Board. I have had the privilege of knowing Shahidul, and I can say with full confidence that he possesses the intelligence, integrity and dedication that our community needs in its leadership.

Shahidul is a thoughtful, solution-oriented individual who approaches complex issues with clarity and focus. Whether the topic is fiscal responsibility or community development, he consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of the issues and a commitment to serving the best interests of the town. His background in technology mean he is making informed, data-driven decisions that reflect the values and needs of our residents.

What sets Shahidul apart is not only his qualifications, but also his genuine care for the people of our community. He listens attentively, welcomes diverse viewpoints, and is not afraid to make tough decisions. His character is grounded in transparency, respect and tireless service.

I believe strongly that Shahidul will bring a steady, principled voice to the Select Board and will work diligently to ensure that our town thrives — both now and in the future. I urge you to join me in supporting Shahidul on Election Day.

— Janine LeBlanc, Hopkinton
