by | May 14, 2024 | Letter to Editor

I have had the pleasure of knowing Kyla McSweeney for some time, and pleasantly witnessed her consistent dedication to our community and deep commitment to our town. A successful marathoner, Kyla has demonstrated unwavering dedication in many town activities and initiatives, from Hopkinton Running Club to Hopkinton Cemetery Commission. Her background as a director in the state Department of Early Education and Care and her legal expertise as a lawyer has prepared Kyla with a unique blend of skills to effectively manage the complex challenges the Select Board faces today, and which are crucial for overseeing fiscal and regulatory matters that are critical to guide our community’s future.

Kyla has the unique ability to identify and align with the critical issues at hand in our town, and with her large-scale project leadership expertise, she is ready to help lead water remediation projects, economic development activities and other projects. Her strategic view on the town’s growth management budgetary challenges is what we need at this juncture. She stands by our schools, committed to a stronger town with community harmony and harvesting economic opportunities.

Please join me in supporting Kyla McSweeney for the Select Board.
