Letter to the Editor: Ronan ‘a voice of the people’

by | Jun 17, 2020 | Letter to Editor

Dawn Ronan is definitely a voice of the people and, even more importantly, a voice for our youth.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dawn for almost three years. I have witnessed her passion for programming that helps develop leadership skills and foster community service with our youth of Hopkinton. I have seen her fight for access and inclusion for all of the families here in Hopkinton. She not only sees a need and does her best to fill it, she actively looks around town and asks, What is the need?

Dawn is beyond hard working and selfless. Dawn has been an active and integral part of the Hopkinton community for so long, she has developed the skill of hearing all sides and working towards finding a solution somewhere in the middle. Many of you know, this is no easy task. No matter what side of an argument Dawn falls on, she will always make a decision based on what is in the best interest of our children. Dawn is an equalizing force and would serve this community well as a member of the school committee.

— Alyndra Canty, Hopkinton

Letter to the Editor: Town leaders need to explain actions

I write following up my comments at the March 3 Select Board meeting, which I made with respect to the Select Board’s executive session on Jan. 30, 2018. That session was attended by, I believe, 13 individuals, including Peter Sismanis, his attorney, town counsel,...

Letter to the Editor: Scoop your dog’s poop
