Letter to the Editor: Ronan has passion, commitment for School Committee

by | Jun 4, 2020 | Letter to Editor

I’m writing this letter to show my support for Dawn Ronan for School Committee.

I’ve known Dawn for over 16 years and have worked with her on multiple philanthropic and community initiatives including the Hopkinton Moms Club, the Serenity House, the Hopkinton Girl Scouts and Relay for Life.

Through these efforts I’ve seen her passion and commitment for our schools and our community. She has shown an excellent ability to create a vision, establish goals, create plans and organize resources to get things accomplished. She is a relentless supporter of our youth and related student programs.

In addition Dawn has been a valued friend and advisor to me and many of the parents of the students in our school system. She has identified a number of student needs and has developed programs to address those needs.

For the years that I have known Dawn, it’s clear to me that she exhibits all the qualities that are necessary to be a valued and highly contributing member of the school committee. I am confident that she would do a fantastic job in this role.

Please join me in voting for Dawn Ronan for School Committee.

— Marie Boyle, Hopkinton

I write following up my comments at the March 3 Select Board meeting, which I made with respect to the Select Board’s executive session on Jan. 30, 2018. That session was attended by, I believe, 13 individuals, including Peter Sismanis, his attorney, town counsel,...

Letter to the Editor: Scoop your dog’s poop
