Main Street Corridor Project update: No work Monday; structure adjustments, sidewalk pouring rest of week

by | Sep 3, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, there will be no work performed Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday. For the rest of the week, crews will adjust structures at various locations and repave any unsettled trenches.

On the east side of the project, workers will pour concrete sidewalks, place loam in various areas, hydroseed from Church Street to just past Ash Street (on Friday) and perform on-site cleanup.

On the west side of the project, loam will be placed in various areas, and there will be on-site cleanup.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
