The Massachusetts Department of Transportation plans to conduct additional overnight ramp closures at the Interstate 90/Interstate 495 interchange in Hopkinton starting Monday, according to a recent notice.
On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the I-495 northbound ramp to I-90 eastbound and westbound (Exit 58) will be closed. Working hours are 10 p.m.-5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction onto I-495 southbound so drivers can access I-90 eastbound and westbound (Exit 58).
The I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 northbound (Exit 106) also will be closed on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 11 p.m.-5 a.m. Traffic will be directed to take to I-495 southbound (Exit 106A) down to West Main Street in Hopkinton (Exit 54A). From there, drivers can reverse direction onto I-495 northbound.
Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.
