The talented Wongchaisuwat is “an incredible teammate,” shared coach Laura McKenzie, adding: “He helped pace 10 teammates — four of them freshmen! — to break 20 minutes on our home course, a testament to his selflessness and leadership. Thunn’s dedication, positivity and teamwork make him a valued member of our program, and he will be a key part of our future success.”

Move In Style, sponsored by Custom Home Realty’s Laura Wauters, is a weekly Hopkinton Independent feature. Each week during the school year, we will highlight a different Hopkinton High School athlete, selected after consultation with HHS coaches.

**Thunn: The Legend of the Trails**

Let’s be real—there’s only one Thunn, and the cross country world is lucky to have him. This guy doesn’t just run; he *flies*. From the very first meet, Thunn has been out there proving he’s built different. While everyone else is still trying to catch their breath, Thunn’s already halfway up the next hill, making it look easy. Watching him race is like watching a highlight reel in real time—pure focus, smooth stride, and that signature Thunn determination that never quits.

But what really makes Thunn great isn’t just his crazy fast times—it’s the grind behind them. Early morning runs? He’s there. Freezing cold practices? Still there. No matter what, Thunn shows up and gives 110%. He’s got that mix of discipline and heart that every athlete wishes they had. You can tell he genuinely loves the sport; it’s not about medals or trophies—it’s about pushing himself to be better every single day.

And off the course? Thunn is the ultimate hype man. He’s the guy cheering for everyone else even when he just crushed his own race. He’ll drop motivational quotes one minute and crack jokes the next, keeping the whole team’s energy high. His leadership isn’t about big speeches—it’s about showing up, setting the pace, and reminding everyone why we love to run in the first place.

So yeah, Thunn deserves this article—and then some. He’s not just a runner; he’s a legend in motion. From muddy shoes to victory laps, he’s made every stride count. When you think of dedication, heart, and pure running greatness, you think of Thunn. And if you’ve ever had the chance to see him race, you already know: the man’s built for greatness.
