The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority announced that it is temporarily reducing service on three of its lines due to COVID-related staffing shortages.
One of the affected lines is Route 5, which runs along Route 135 from the Blandin Avenue Hub in Framingham to the Hopkinton Price Chopper on West Main Street. The route, which normally continues until about 8 p.m. on weekdays, will run from 5:30 a.m. until 5:55 p.m.
The agency indicated it plans to return to full service as soon as possible.
